I am looking for data on my great grandfather, John Crawford, (middle initial could be W.) Born 1840 d.1912. John immigrated to the USA in 1853. He married Margaret E Fiester,Born 1842 to 1844, d. 1910, and they had 8 living children. They were Ida; b. 1870, George; b. 1872, John; b.1877, Bertha; b. 1878, Elbert; b.1879, Harry and Edna May; b.Nov.1881, d. 1907. May; (male), b.1883. It is believed that all the children were born in Illinois. John and Margaret(Maggie) are buried in Whiting, Kansas, as is Edna May.
Edna May or May Edna Crawford was my grandmother. Since Edna May and Harry had the same birth month I am trying to tie them together as twins, but have no data on this. Edna May died early in 1907 from consumption and we have practically no data on her. Some of this data from the 1900 census, Edna May was not listed in that census of Whiting, Kansas, nor married at that time. Edna May died when my mother was 2 years old. I could use some help with this, my family. Thank You.
