When I was a young girl, I loved sitting under my grandmother's transplanted palm tree in Vidalia, GA, sipping coke and listening to her stories about her family. When she died, the only item I requested was her cherished Tilghman Family book. My efforts to learn more about my family are dedicated to her, Rubye Althea Coleman Rhodes.
