My name is Mark Ritchie i was born in Port Elizabeth in south africa in December 1961. My parents were Edwin and Margaret Ritchiewith my mothers maiden name being Murray and her grand parents surnames on the paternal side being Murray and Orrick from Newcastle UK and on her maternal side being Wilcocks and ?. I have no idea what her great grandmothers maiden name was.
On my fathers side his father was Edgar Reginald Ritchie born in LAKE CARGELLICO IN AUSTRALIA and his mother was Constance Mary Kitley from a family in Southhamps UK.Furhter back from the above has been difficult. The only relative of whom i have full details is my great grandmother Orrick . Below her on the tree i have reasonable information but her husband was a William Murray and i am sure there are plenty of William Murrays at that time,his father(my great great grandfather was a stewart Murray and evidently they owned a sweet factory in Newcastle ???
