I am the descendant of Lewis(Louis)Franklin Downs and Sarah Rhoda Ann(Aunt Sally)Ragle. They were married on March 9,1873 in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Parthenia Elizabeth Ragle and James McKinney Riggs.The children of this marriage were Carrie,Cal,Cora,Anna,George Ezekiel (Zeke),Minnie,Jerushia,.The parents of Sarah Rhoda Ann are John Albert Ragle and Rhoda Evaline Coffman.John Albert born Jan 16,1832 in Madison Co. Ala,died Mar.28,1913 in Princeton,TX. Rhoda Evaline was born Dec 15,1829 and died May 25,1902.Both are buried in Princeton,TX. George Ezekiel(Zeke)Downs married Mary Ettie Warren who is the daughter of William Albert Warren and Alice Aurora Bora Appleton. Her brothers and sisters are Madden Covin Warren,Henry Chapel Warren,Lillian Corrie Warren(Newton),Nellie Blane Warren,David Oscar Warren,Susey Pearl Warren(Whitsett)William Ezra Warren,George Luther Warren and Hollis Elbert Warren. John B. Warren and Rachel Hunt are the grandparents on the Warren side. Children of this marriage were Henry J. Warren,Sarah,James,Joseph,David,Mary,Louisa,Elmina and William.The children of George Ezekiel and Mary Ettie are Lewis,William Chisolm(Dub),Thomas Clellon(Ted),Annie Vellarhee(Marks)George Calvin,Talmedge Laylon,Thelmon Arlon(killed on a train track at Greenbrier),Clifford Devaughn,Doyle,Robbie Ruth(Blakely,2.Evans) and Nella.
