My mother (Patricia Ann Pimblett) and father divorced in approximately 1955. My father, Milton Roberts, came to Australia from New Zealand with his family, which included two brothers Rex and Donald.

I have learnt that my grandfather worked at the New Zealand dairies prior to settling in Australia. He also worked for a cannery or something similar in Terang in a top management position. My father became a poultry farmer, moving into Ringwood, a suburb of Melbourne.

My mother's family (The Pimblett's) were land owners in the Western district of Victoria. My grandfather was Richard and my grandmother had a sister Jean, who she lived with until she died.
