I have been researching the Langenhoven side of family for quite sometime but did not gather much information on them.

My dad Lesley Lehane Langenhoven born on 13 August 1926 in Cape Town . His brother was Henry William Langenhoven and his sister was Rossie Langenhoven (unfortunately I do not know what her full name was) (married Porter-Smith). They lived at no. 25 Liscard Street , Kenwyn. My dad died on 09 August 1979 in Walvis Bay . According to sources his dad was Johannes Cornelius Langenhoven (or Johannes Jacobus) and his mother was Elizabeth Anita Langenhoven (or Anita Elizabeth) (she was a Vorster before she married a van Heerden after which she married my granddad) born 1900. My granddad was apparently much older than my grandmom. My brother can also recall that my dad mentioned something about growing up in Vasco in Cape Town before moving to Kenwyn. My dad married Annie Kathleen Grace Rodkin and his brother Henry married Lorraine Rodkin (younger sister of my mom).

Some also remember that my granddad has some or other business (they can’t remember what). My brother also recalls that he had a business but also said that at some stage he lost it.
