I have been researching the Hobson Family Tree since about 1960. I was raised by my grandparents on my mothers side. My Grandfather was Vearl Davis Hobson. He told me lots of stories about his family and helped me identify most of the family pictures. His father was William Henry Hobson son of Francis Fuller Hobson, son of William Henry Hobson b. 1818 England, son of Christopher Dyson Hobson b. 1774-1778 Wold Newton, Lincoln, England, son of John William Hobson b. abt. 1750 Wold, Newton, Lincoln, England, son of Christoper Hobson and Ann.

There are quite a few of the family still living and we have a reunion every few years in the Portland, Oregon area.

I have extensive information on many branches of the family up to present.

I have been using the net for research for the last year. I am just learning where to look and what to look for. What a fabulous tool.
