I became a member of the Hull Family Association in May 2001 after struggling to find facts about my family history. I have read several genealogy reports and family home pages which indicate the the father of Francis Hull was Peter Thomas Hohl/Hull, however I'm not inclined to believe that is the case. The studies of the HFA genealogist, Phyllis Hughes indicates that my Francis is the son of J. Nickolas Holl. This makes sense to me since both F. Philip Holl and J. Nickolas Holl arrived together in Pennsylvania from Rotterdam, August 24, 1750, listed together on the Brothers Ship with a Capt. Muir at the helm. I will continue to devote time and research to proving this family connection. Since this a German line, my work is cut out for me.
