I am currently researching my family history. So far I have found
my paternal great great great grandfather David Robinson. I am a descendant from him through his son James Osborne/Asborn Robinson. James had a son named Merida T Robinson, who had a son named Hillary Pierce (Buddy) Robinson. He had a son named Charles Jackson (Jack) Robinson. I am Jacks son. Along the way there are many aunts uncles brothers and siters. My grandfather H.P Robinson married Clora Brandenburg. All I know about her so far is that she was raised by her grandmother Fanny Strong in OwsleyCo Ky. She had a brother named Herman. I was raised in Owsley and Jackson Co Ky. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents as a child. They were two of the most well liked and respected people in the area. I feel very fortunate to have known them and to have them as ancestors. I think a lot of who I am today I owe to them. So I continue my quest to find my ancestors.
