I have just begun looking for my family tree; it is scetchy at best as I know very little about my own immediate parentage. We had a family reunion the summer after my father's death (1988) in Turlock, Calif; met alot of nice previously unknown relatives (my parents divorced when I was 2). I would like to know more information; I have been told that I am a third generation Californian descended from the Donner Party on my maternal side.
