The Heaven family can be traced back to at least the late 1500's in the Kings Stanley area of Gloucestershire, England. Quite soon thereafter, however, the relationship between various branches was lost. One branch continued to become what some call "the Lundy branch" because for a while some members of the family owned Lundy Island, off the north coast of Devon, England. Much of that branch of the family is well recorded. However, as branches will, branches branch off and get lost here and there. Throughout the world, Heaven descendents continue to seek their connections. There are known branches of the Heaven family in Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, the USA, and, of course England. This web site seeks to facilitate the re-making of these distant connections, difficult as this may be.
