My great-grandfather William Brayman Joslin traveled to Texas as a young man and settled down. He was born in April of 1822 in Victor, New York. I have copies of letters to his brother Sholett. His father was Henry Joslin, who moved to Ypsilante, Michigan and later to Joliette, Illinois, where he died. I plan to do more research as time permits. If you think you are related, drop me a line.

Henry Joslin was born in Rhode Island. His father was Henry B. Joslin. Have not found details on the birth or death of his grandfather.
