I’m a 24yo male currently pursuing a 4yr degree at a local community college in Vancouver, WA. My interest in my heritage is due to very little family that is still living today. My father Donald Harold Roberti, who is deceased, had full Sicilian blood lines and was put in foster care at around 3 yrs old. The Robertis' my father did know of, were estrange and later made contact with him, well aware of his location and his doings in life. I met my name sake Dominic Roberti (great Uncle), who has since passed. He did quite well owning a respected barber shop in the SE district of Portland, OR and lived a long life of 84 yrs. My father shared stories of his Dad James Roberti who came over on a ship with his pregnant wife to have my Aunt and my Father who came a year or two later. My father had heard through some family talk that his dad James was left by his wife who ran off with another man and james ended his life in San francisco CA. I currently have a sister and an aunt and I would like to know who else is out there.
