Hi,my name is Donna Roberts and I've been researching my family's history for about six months now. I want to leave something to my children, so they will know where they came from.
This is very important to me, I want to know my family, good or bad, hopefully all good. I hope that my family contributed something of value to this world, besides me.
I've been creating my family tree from my mother's side of the family. It's very interesting. I'm researching now for information on the confederate war. I've traced my maternal grandfather's family to a Sara Hardy who married (date unknown)Lemuel Lanier (1729-70)my Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great grandfather. I'm also researching my father's, Mayfield Lloyd of Blytheville, Arkansa,family tree, however I haven't found not much information yet. I only know that my grandfather's name was Jack and he married a Laura.
