This is a new beginning for this Roberts clan. The only thing I can tell at this time is that D.F.(Doctor Frank) and Bertha Cleo Owens came to Texas in a covered wagon. I'm not sure where they settled first, but some places that come to mind are Boyce,Wellington, and Childress, Texas. There were 11 children born to the parents. All of the children are dead except three.The list of children are: 1.Ella Bea Smart 2. Lorene Lankford 3. Dorothy D. Nunley 4. Olin Roberts 5.Rosalie Embree 6.Jimmy Don Roberts(J.D.) 7.Earl Wayne Roberts 8.W.L. Roberts 9.Frank Roberts 10. Charles Roberts 11.Maxine Beagles. The three children that are still alive are Rosalie, W.L., and J.D.
