My husband, Paul Robson, is a 6th generation Grainer. He and his family moved to the U.S. in 1980. I am trying to trace the Robson line to see how far back the Graining trade actually runs in their family. The ultimate coup would be to find the first grainer and discover how he got into the trade.

Hopefully, when I am done, we'll have a more complete picture of how this beautiful talent came to be a mainstay in the Robson family.

Right now, I am sort of stumped at Frederick & Eliza Robson. If you have any ideas or advice as to how to get my hands on more detailed info form this side of the "Pond" it would be more than welcome.
