My father died when I was five years old and my mother remarried and moved to another state. I always knew I was my fathers second family and my grandmother sent me pictures of my half brothers and sister over the years.

With the availability of information on the internet, I have been able to locate part of that missng family. I received a message that my father was listed in another family tree and I sent a message through the website. I have spoke with a niece I did not know I had.

I discovered that there is a very large Higginbotham family and located a family tree with a person by the same name as my husband's granfather. Then I asked him who "Doozer " Higginbotham was and he said "that's my grandfather." There was no mention of his mother or uncles or many cousins.

Since I started working on our family tree, we now have 2330 people on our miller family tree and 2002 people on the Miller/Roberson/Higginbotham 1tree. We look forward to many more.
