This was my Grandfather. He was born in 1890 on a very old copy of birth registration which was found in his paperwork or 1891 certificate that was sent to me via LDS.
I believe that his father was Joseph Bart*s Robertshaw also born in Bradford approx 1860 if my information is correct, and I am under the impression that his mother was Mary Jackson, also of Bradford and born around the same time I do not know if he had any siblings.
He married Jean Todd who was from Glasgow, her father was john Todd and I believe her mother may have been Elizabeth Maxwell but this again is on a copy of their marriage ertificate. They were married here in Australia 23April 1915.
They had seven children, six boys and one girl, but sadly all of the family have passed on.
My father was Joseph Bartimeaus Robertshaw, he was the eldest in the familybut sadly he passed away while I was still very young.
I am really struggling with this linage as there is no-one that I am aware of that can assist
I would appreciate any information that may be forthcoming.
