My family on both sides are about all gone -- just my sister Wanda Ruth Roberts Hubbard and her family, my cousins Herbert Mclemore, Wendell, Darrell and Williane Roberts and their families, Betty Jo Gregg and her family, and my cousins on the other side of the tree- Jo Ann Goddard Lawrence and her sister Margaret Jean (Mickey) Goddard Trimble and their families. We don't have formal get-to-gethers, we just visit or talk on the telephone.
I am currently researching our DAR/SAR Heritage on my Mother's side of the family - The Goddard side, and My Civil War and Cherokee Heritage on the Roberts side. So far, I am making some progress with the expert help of Jo Ann Lawrence who has done a mountain of work on this project. Jo and I both have several pictures from both sides which would be interesting looking for some of our kin who are interested in that sort of thing.
I will keep this updated as we move along and learn new things about new people. Today's date is 1 November, 2008.
