I would like to research both my father's, Laurence Jesse Roberts, and my mother's, Rosina Elizabeth Hoyte, family tree.
My father is originally from Maine and my mother, from Panama. Together, they had five (5) children; Lorin (57), Wendy (60), Glenn (62), Sheila (63) and Dale (66). My father moved to Glen Cove in the early 1960's and lived up on the hill on Burns Avenue (behind Kennedy Heights and the projects). The family moved to 23 Donohue Street, GC in 1965 and remained there until the middle 70's. In late 1969, Lorin went away to Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania at the age of 12. In the summer of 1969, the family, minus my father, took its first trip to Panama. Lorin (12), Wendy (9), Glenn (7), Sheila (5) and Dale was (3).
