I am researching Robson's of Cambridge and Lincoln, Lincolnshire. UK 1781-1880's.
Thomas Robson Sr. (1781-1847) Son of John Robson and wife Rhoda Harte, of Cambridge, had the following Children:
Thomas Jr., 1805-1872, my ancestor.
Daughter Rhoda born 1807, Mary,1809, Harriet 1812, Wm Hart Robson 1814, John Henry 1816, Frances 1821, Edward 1822 and Augustus F.Robson born 1824.
Thomas Robson Jr.1805-1872 married at Lincolnshire, then moved by British Customs Service to Louth where son Thomas John Robson was born 1833. Three years later the family was transferred to Rothesay, Isle of bute Scotland then to Linlithglow, Scotland, Kendal, England then to West Bight ST. Lincoln, England, where the father retired after a life career with the British Customs Service. There were seven children born to this family.
The 3rd child, Arthur Manning Robson 1838-1914 came to USA in 1870 settled in Nebraska USA and was my g-g-grandfather. He was born when the family was living at Rothesay, Isle of Bute Scotland.
I am interested in finding any descendants of any of the above named Robsons.
