I am trying to trace my father's two half sisters, who emigrated to America before WW2. Unfortunately I do not have christian names. They apparently kept contact during WW2 sending parcels etc then contact was lost - one had a son - I think called CHIP.

My grandfather was called William (Bill) and his 1st wife died their children included the 2 who emigrated, Roger, William, Margaret (Peggy). He remarried (my grandmother - Elizabeth) who had one child by a previous marrage, and went on to father 5 more children Elizabeth, Jennie, Thomas (my father dcsd 1961) Matthew, George.

The family had previously attempted to emigrate to America but had been refused entry at Ellis Island.

Can anyone help?
