About Our Family Research
Charles Robins Cox, the first son of Thomas and Catherine Robins Cox, was born at Cornwood Devon in 1838. In the early 1860's he and a younger brother went to Victoria in Eastern Australia to join the gold rush. At 28 he married Elizabeth Helena Williams at Stawell and they farmed at Mt Dryden. Most of the descendents of their fourteen children stayed in Victoria, but some, including ours, came to Western Australia. Today we are scattered worldwide.
