I'm dedicating this to my ancestry of Roberts and Caulkins.
My Roberts ancestry is my paternal family. They migrated from CT in the early 1800's to Canton, PA. Then John Griffin Roberts and his family migrated to Wellsboro, PA in the 1850's.
As far back as I was able to trace the Roberts line is to England in the 1577's to a William Roberts in Cornwell. Some places states that his wife was Thomasin Harry. Others didn't list a wife. I'm related through his son Samuel William who was born about 1608 In Cornwell.
Caulkins is my maternal branch of my family. I've traced back to Hugh Calkin's father William Calkin in Wales born about 1570. Hugh and his wife Ann Eston migrated with their family to CT. I'm related through his son John and wife Sarah Royce. Roswell and family moved to Berlin, OH. Eventually Evered Caulkins and family moved to Wellsboro in 1936.
I am willing to swap information on either family.
I am in the process of compiling my history for family and....
And I'm in the process of getting certified. So I will be able to assist. Soon I would like to offer a genealogical course after certification.
