My name is Shirley Ann Delk Roberts.I am the youngest of seven children born to my parents,Clifton Milford Delk and Clara May Wilcher Delk.I was born July 16,1943 on Indian Creek in Casey County,Kentucky.I have always been very curious about where my ancestors came from,but up until last year[2000]never thought much about trying to find that out.Now that I have started my genealogy search,I find it will probally never be done.There will always be that one brick wall and when that is opened up it leads the way to more and more research.It is true,genealogy takes up a lot of our time,energy and money,but I think it is worth every effort we put out to do it.
