HI TO EVERYONE .......
My sister and I (Faith and Denise), are researching both sides of our family lineage. That is Maternal and Paternal (mother & father).
Our "Maternal" (mother's side) side, nee. the "White's", were thought to originate from middle Europe, settling in the vicinity of Maryland's eastern shore (and bayside), possibly during the mid 1700's. Later, settling relatives in the Baltimore City. My maternal grandmother (Mary G. White) was one of over 10 children. Many of whom died before age 5 or during both WW's
My Faternal side, the "Rohl's" (my grandfather), immigrated with his wife (nee. "Berry") from England in 1923 on the Connard Line. However, we think he was born in Germany (old) and have reason to believe he has relatives living in both Germany and England. We do not know how many brothers and/or sister's my faternal grandfather may have had. He never spoke of his family to his sons.
We will try to keep everyone up to date as the research moves forward on both sides of the tree.
