Am searching for Reid/Williams family. Have applied to the War Memorial in Canberra, and can only give serial number,as served in the Air Force and served some of his time at the then Ascot Vale barracks, was known as John Alexander Reid (Jack)grew up in Richmond,attended a Catholic school,the only notice I have is that Jack Reid collapsed in Collingwood in the early 70's his mother before she married was a Regan married a Jack Reid, whose occupation was a slaughterman, and is supposed to have had other children which seems difficult to find. The Williams family married into the U'ren family in the 1800s then they fade out, except for a grandmother on the other side of the family who married a Nichols a sheep farmer, they started of in Rockhampton Queensland finally settling in Bendigo,and retiring to Lakes Entrance they had three children 2 girls and 1 boy that I know of,my grandmother had a sister Lillian and a brother Bill
