Duane Boydstun was born on October 13, 1938, in Jones,Oklahoma. His parents are George Ira Boydstun and Bertha Matilda Boydstun. His paternal grandparents are Ezekiel Benjamin Boydstun and Mary Ann Landers. His maternal grandparents are Eugene Addison Belden and Celia Rosetta Haynes.

Duane's daughter, Carol Jean (Boydstun) Roley, is researching the family's genealolgy. She has collected quite a bit about the Beldens, but is slowly collecting information about the other branches of the family tree.
