The purpose of this endeavor is to provide a web based window into the genealogical past of the families Rolfe that originated in Newport, and Rawdon, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada as early as 1780. Once described by the late John Victor Duncanson, historian and author in his book titled "Newport, A New England Township". It pretty much explains why I have so many great American cousins today.

But more importantly it is to provide a place where related families can exchange information, pictures and story. Hopefully from this small sapling a much larger tree will emerge from which we may clearly see the shoulders upon which we now stand. A personal heritage to be proud of and preserve.
