My Fathers father of the same name came to Birtley from Wembley,London as a bevan boy during WW2. My Father is still around Co.Durham. My aunt is in scotland married to a man named watson. My Grandmothers had the maiden names of lynn and micheson. My mothers biological father was called rutherford although she was legaly adopted by my nans new husband my other grandad by the name of Cummings.
