Searching Moore, Agens, Sheldon

About Our Family Research


I am researching the Moore family from NH. Samuel Moore was born in 1738/39 in Litchfield, NH. He married Rebeca Goffe. His son Joseph Moore married Nancy Patten. Their son Reuben Moore later came to Michigan and was progenitor of the Moore family of St. Clair, MI. I am also researching James Agens and Charles Sheldon on my mother's side. James Agens fought in the Revolutionary War under George Washington. The Agens family settled in Newark, NJ.
I have become a member of the DAR and enjoy doing research on my family.
