I have been collecting family history since 1945 when my mother, Evelyn (nee Anderson) wrote some names of her family on a piece of paper (which I still have).

The only reunion I can remember was when we attended the baptism of Richard and Robert Rolla, twin boys of Clarence and Edna Rolla in Pacific Beach, CA in 1948 or '49.

My brother, Richard Rudolph, and I visited the Rolla farm in Norway in 1985. It was one of the most thrilling events to ever happen to me. I stood in the churchyard and viewed the graveyard that held my Rolla ancestors. The farm is located near the Glomma River between Kirkenaer and Flisa.

My son, Hans Christian is married to Elizabeth Pena (the actress) and has 2 children, Fiona and Katlin. They live in Topanga Canyon, CA. My daughter, Kristine is married to Carlo deGuzman and they have 3 children, Lena, Ana and Camille. They live on Vashon Island, WA.
