I am seeking the ancestry of my great,great grandfather James Rolston who married Alice McMahon.They had a family of 5 or 6 and were living at Rehall near Irvinestown(Lowtherstown) Co. Fermanagh, Ireland when he died Dec.15th 1846 while employed at local 'Famine Relief' road works(local newspaper record). There is a contemporary record of a James Rollston aged 88.basketmaker in the general area. and also a Catherine Ralston. widow of Milltown, Rehall, aged 86 in 1857. They might be the parents of G~G~Grandfather. My great grandfather Patrick Rolston, a shoemaker, b.1837,was one of the surviving family but I know nothing about his siblings. He emigrated for a time to USA but returned to marry Catherine Keon(Keown) in 1864. Did some of his siblings go with him to USA and stay there? Patrick had a daughter, Alice, b.1875, who emigrated to USA and married a man called Mcmanus from Lisnarick, Co.Fermanagh. I am told they had a large family. Where are their descendents now?
