I recently lost my adopted Mother (January 15, 2001), who had written a book, for our family intitled "That Plymouth Rock Crowd", Section III, "THE STURGEONS." Since she didn't get to research section I & II, as a Memorial to her and a legacy to my children,I am going to attempt to finish this. The main families involved are the BRADFORD/CHILDS/KIRK. She did a wonderful job laying the ground work so, I have a lot to go on. But with the friends I have made here online through Rootsweb and my natural skill at "snooping", I'll also be scowering both Ancestry and Family Search.org. I will also post the STURGEON lines here for you to see along with some photo's and stories she included in this 181 page book. She has a great deal of the History of early Pennsylvania along with the Early Colonies, Revolutionary War and much more. If you see any names here that interest you please feel free to contact me. So sit back, get a cup of coffee and "ENJOY"
Mom, I love you !!!! :) Ps..... her brother followed her in death only 3 days short of a month (February 12, 2001) This was indeed a close knit Family.
