This tree is a work in progress and is centered around the Pecot family. American members of the Pecot family all descend from one couple - Francois Pecot of Nantes, France, and Rosalie Prejean Pecot, born in Acadia. She and Francois were married on Saint Domingue, now Haiti. Francois was murdered in the revolution, and Rosalie, with her six children found her way to Louisiana. And the family expanded from there...
