Rausis; The Roses of Sperling

About Our Family Research


My Grandfather Maurice Charles Gustave Rausis was born in Orsiere, Valais, Switzerland. He spoke only French when he came to this country and somewhere along the line our name became Rose through pronunciation. I know he landed on Ellis Island on Feb. 24 1901 and then proceeded to Odell,Illinois.
