The McKinney Family hail from Byhalia/Watson/Chulahoma areas of Marshall Co MS. In the early 1930's, many of our family members relocated to Ingrams Mill, Desoto Co MS. The McKinney's are able to trace their lineage to the Echols Family. On December 26, 1876, Henry McKinney married Harriet Echols. Her parents are George and Sarah Echols. George hails from Virginia, per the 1870 census.
