I started to investigate my family tree about 3 years ago. I have used the resources of my local Family History Society here in Launceston, Tasmania, plus info. from the Latter Day Saints Church, and have had great success with mailing lists and other internet resources. In the past month I have just discovered "live" relations in the States related to me on my Scottish side of the family. Their grandfather and mine were brothers. Their grandfather, Hugh Mark Ross having emigrated to Nova Scotia in the 1890's.
