About Our Family Research

I inherited a copy of my Mother's family's genealogy called "The McFarlan & Stern Genealogy of Pennsylvania and Delaware" published in 1885. This started me on my genealogy search to bring my family's part of the tree up to date. Along the way I started to explore my Father's family and my husband's family. At this time my main objective is to work on the DuCoin part of the family tree. I plan to follow this with my husband's family so my son will have as complete a family tree as possible.

The names that dominate my research are Stern, McFarlan, Weldin, Clark, Gilpin, Dunn, Fox, Pierce, DuCoin, Constantine, Arrow, McChesney and Ross. We are located mostly in NJ, PA, DE, MD, MO, CA, NC, IL, KY. As of now my dates range is from 1738, but I do have some information back to the 1200's.

I hope my research can help you find that long lost relative.
