Searching Jacob and Marianna Rosinski, Sr. siblings: Katharine, Josephine, Jacob,Jr., Mary, Michael, Francis, infant Mary (deceased). It is believed Jacob and Marianna immigrated to the United States about 1860, first to Milwaukee, WI, where Jacob had apparently had some relation in Hardware Sales, then crossing Lake Michigan to settle in Leelanau County, in Isadore,Cleveland Township; Cedar, Solon Township; Michigan area.
A step-brother Andrew Rosinski was known to travel with them over land and sea, settling in the Solon Township area, Leelanau County. He married a woman who's family also had located in Leelanau County.
It is not known which port they might have arrived at, since there are several around the peninsula of Leelanau County.
