I'm only just beginning to research my ancestry. My grandparents on my mother's side grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland. My father's family is primarily of Scottish descent as well. My grandmother on my father's side has done a great deal of research with regards to that side of my family, and I intend to find out more about the other side as well. The primary Scottish names at this point are Ross, Stevenson (of Edinburgh), Laidlaw, and Higgins. I hope to have more information soon.
