My research has been on my fathers side of the family (Ross) which is Scotch Irish. They came over in 1840's to settle around Pittsburgh,PA. They moved to Rockford, MN and then moved West to settle in Killdeer, ND. In 1936 they settled in St Helens, Oregon. My Mother's side (Maia Feann and Gulick Jonrud) came from Norway around the turn of the century and went through Ellis Island and settled around Cottonwood, MN. From there they homestead near Killdeer, ND and my mother, Nora O. Olson, came out to St Helens, Oregon married to my father, James C. Ross, in 1937 where I was born 10 June 1937. I still have research to do on my children's mother M. Suzanne Marsh and her English, Irish background.

  Little James was born 1 Sept 2000 in Germany near Hamburg. Oma, Nana Linda and Opa Jim visited them in Sept and Oct of 2000 to welcome James into the family.

  Big brother Scott looks after sister Allie who was born 30 June 2000 in Richmond, VA.
• The James and Ashley Ross Family welcome Sophie (16 KB)
  Sophie Suzanne Ross arrived 1 May 2001 in Kalamazoo, MI.
