I have been researching the Jacobs family for about 2 years now. It started as a gift to my father in law and turned into a career.( I am studying online to get my geneology certificate)The Jacobs/Proctor family started in 1891 in South Dakota, then branched out to Michigan. Now in the 5th generation my husband and I are back in South Dakota on ancestorial property.
