There has been much research done on both sides of this family and I have been interested in trying to sort out the differing ideas about our origins. Much of the research is conflicting so it is a great treasure hunt to discover the "real" story behind our beginnings.
There are many Rosenbalms in the Willamette valley of Oregon. Craig's father was one of 6 boys and 2 girls who came here from Tennesse early in the 20th century. There were other other cousins who came about the same time with the spelling of Rosenbalm, Rosenbaum and others. I very much appreciate the information already available on the site.
The Barnetts and Fudges also came from Tennessee, Ohio and Virginia. The Barnetts came to Utah and spread into Idaho and California in the mid 1800s. The Fudges were from Ohio and some settled in Texas from there.
Much of the information I have collected to this point has been second hand although I have some "hard" records. I am focusing on my own family of Barnett/Fudge persons and learning as I go. I will attempt to learn how to share through this site what I have and look forward to getting to know some of our many cousins.
