I am searching the ancestry of James Sanborn. Family story tells that he was a merchant marine who was Norwegian and came to Hawaii by way of England. His Son is James Sanborn, born in Hawaii,he married Punahoa Holi Moano.

This Sanborn family in Hawaii owned the Sanborn Ranch which after being sold, part of the land became known as the Parker Ranch.

This James Sanborn is somehow related to the James Sanborn of the Chase & Sanborn Coffee fame.
