Oldest known ancestor is William Ross born 13 August 1790 in Boath. Married Ann Ross in Lealty in Alness 14 December 1821.
Was a labourer/mason Baddan on 1 Oct 1822 when son Donald was baptised on 1 October 1822. Suspect Ann Ross had a daughter before marriage, that daughter had a daughter Simona McDonald, born 1840.
