I started looking for my Grandfather Clyde Rose. All I knew was that he had a brother named Claude. After many tries their names came up and i gained thru this web my Dads family history all the way back to Benjamin & Jane Rose in VT or NY.Benjamin had James Rose b-4 1791 m-Lucy Barber 25 mar 1813 in VT/NY. That son James the 1st moved to Ohio ab 1840. Remarried Oprah Woods Sept. 9,1848 in Defiance Co,OH. Their 1 born was James also.Ab 1870 he is in Cassinova,Muskegon Co,MI. He married Catherine ? they had 6 children of which Clyde was found. I have found many,many relatives looking also and some that may be also related thru my Mothers side, also from the same area of Ohio.
