The birth of Samantha Nicole Zimmerman on July 24, 1999 has validated in many ways my existence. It is difficult to put into words exactly what that is or what that means. I do know that it has made it important to me to give my granddaughter her roots.....to let her know where it is she has come from and in doing so I have found this experience to be humbling...as I look back in time and realize just how many people have contributed to my existence.
