My name is SHERRY LEE KNIGHT (nee ROSE) and my heritage is from THE ROSE(paternal) & VAUGHT(maternal)lines, my husband, Roger's line is THE KNIGHTS (paternal) & THE REAMS (maternal). In the ROSE FAMILY TREE, Lawrence Rose is the earliest ancestor found to date and he was born 1789 in Rennesslear County, New York. The VAUGHTS have been traced back to CHRISTIAN VAUGHT b 1720 in NJ, and later they resided in SPRUCE RUN, GILES CO. W.VA.
My husbands family tree for The KNIGHT's has been traced by his cousin all the way back to William KNIGHT mid 1800's in Chesterfield, SC, while the REAMS family has been traced to
JOHN REAMES born 1650 Prince George Co. VA.
