My name is Clara Roeder Rovedo. I live in Machesney Park , Ill. My greatgrandparents came from Obergimpern, Baden, Germany, Joseph {Johannes} and Mary Katherina {Gabel} Roeder. They came to the U.S. arond the 1850's-1860's. They lived near West Brooklyn and Sublette in Lee County , Illinois. There son , Joseph is my grandfather. He married Anna Duwenhoegger. They had 14 children. One of their sons, Christian Roeder is my father. My father married Gertrude Reiners in 1937. They leaved near Lismore, in Nobles County, Mn.
Please note: My greatparents are buried in West Brooklyn Catholic Cemetary, West Brooklyn Ill. He died 6/9/1892. She died 5/29/1907.
